ABOUT MY DREAM JOB

Film Director

          My dream job would be that of a Film Director, and this has been my dream for awhile now. To gain this position there is no education specifically needed, but a film course is recommended along with other classes such as: Cinematography, video production, and screen writing. The salary that a film director makes depends on where they work, so directors who live and work in Los Angeles, California and New York City, New York would make the most amount of money. The average Film Director makes around $92,220 a year, but the top 10% make $187,199 annually. A film directors task is having nearly all creative decision making during pre-production, production, and post- production. 

I would be honored to work for any big studio as a film director, but what I would prefer would be to work at A24 studio. What duties come with this position are all creative power with the movie I am creating.
